Dilly Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 pkg. (380g) Mina's Purely Divine Bread Mix
  • 1 pkg. (7g) yeast
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 Tablespoons fresh dill or dill seed
  • 1 large egg
  • 2/3 cup cottage cheese
  • 2/3 cup sour cream
  • 2 Tablespoons sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons dried onion flakes
  • 1 Tablespoon butter

Preparation:

  1. Combine bread mix, yeast, salt, dill and egg in mixer bowl
  2. Meanwhile heat cottage cheese, sour cream, sugar, dried onion and butter in a sauce pan
  3. Transfer to oiled bread pan and smooth the top
  4. Cover with oiled plastic wrap
  5. Let rise to top of pan, remove plastic wrap, and bake in a 375°F oven for 35-40 minutes
